About us
At MJ Acting Academy & Casting Agency, our mission is to empower every student to embrace their individuality and flourish in a supportive, creative environment. We run acting workshops and graded LAMDA classes for ages six to adult, offering opportunities to develop self-confidence and teamwork skills whilst making lifelong friends.
Our graded LAMDA qualifications provide UCAS points for university applications and are highly regarded by employers for demonstrating communication skills. Each week, our dedicated teachers deliver varied syllabuses designed to improve creativity, speaking and listening, memorisation, vocabulary and characterisation.
Established in 2016, we are proud members of Spotlight, representing students for TV and film work. We hold classes at Christ the King and Mirfield Community Centre.
Our LAMDA specialist boasts a 100% examination pass rate, and our staff are DBS-checked, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Above all, we believe in having fun while nurturing talent. With a team offering a broad range of skills, we know each student personally and strive to help discover their potential and truly shine.
